it’s finished!!!!! i just wrapped up the manuscript for book 3 and want to celebrate with you 🤎🌞🦢🌸💓🥳 it’s been a long road and you’ve been so patient. your love and support pushed me through times i was ready to give up. here i am with all our new poems!!! each “first edition” of my books looks like this. i print out the poems and lay them flat. then i start placing them in the correct order- because the journey that is created with the placement matters. this process takes months and i usually end up with two dozen versions of the book ☺️ after i like the order- i glue the final into a messy little notebook to get a feel for how it reads from cover to cover. before all the fancy paper-the pretty fonts and colours are added on-i want the poems to make my stomach turn in their rawest form. this tradition pays homage to how i wrote. put together. and self-published ‘milk and honey’ while living with my best friends in a cute little home during my university years. now: i don’t know when book 3 will be out but i can say the hard part is over and now i’m off to make the drawings and design the cover. here’s to round three my sweeeeeet sweet family 🌞 you with me on this?
